During a recent virtual classroom visit, I answered a question about where the word grammar comes from and why it means what it means.
Take a peek!
How can we spread the word about Cozy Grammar?
If you have a moment, might you be able to help us with something? We’re looking for advice on letting more people know about what we offer.
We’ve always been a very small, homegrown operation. This sometimes has its challenges, but we believe deeply in honoring Marie’s legacy and in doing whatever we can to spread the word among students and families who would love Cozy Grammar if they only knew about it.
If you could contact us and share any suggestions you might have, we would appreciate it enormously!
For instance, should we try reaching out to homeschooling organizations or leaders? Might there be any organizations or people you would recommend that we contact?
Should we try approaching homeschooling or alternative education podcasts? Introduce ourselves on Facebook groups? Something else entirely?
Let us know what you think! We would be deeply grateful for any suggestions you might have.

We are delighted to release the updated and greatly expanded Intermediate Cozy Grammar Course, Level One.

If you're currently considering our Complete Curriculum, here's what the Intermediate Cozy Grammar Course Level One offers you:
- The key to learning the language of grammar and how it can reveal how much you already know about words.
- The concept of inflection and how it adds both flexibility and precision to the way you describe people, places, things, and events.
- The secret life of verbs and how you can use them to convey different moods.
- A bonus set of tips for acing the language section of educational exams so you can continue opening the doors to your chosen areas of intellectual and professional exploration.
Here's a still from Lesson 7 with an example from Marie of a compound object.
I hope this finds you and your family healthy and happy.
